Rules & use
Last updated:
Time It Arcade is a mobile precision game published by Build Your Web. The website lets you download the app, open an invitation and read this information. Install the app from the App Store or Google Play to play.
Version 1.1. This page also describes features in version 1.1. Availability depends on the installed version and their activation. Leaderboard positions do not award cash prizes.
Classic games and rankings
Global and friends leaderboards use the best ranked score in a classic game. The server verifies scores. Equal scores share a rank. Delayed synchronisation may delay a result’s appearance.
Classic mode starts with three hearts. An optional rewarded ad can restore one heart after they are lost, once per game and only after the reward is confirmed. The 1.1 update plans to count the final score, including the continuation, as one game in the leaderboard. Until that update and its support are active, your installed version’s rules apply.
Challenging a friend
An accepted friendship lets you propose a challenge. The recipient can accept or decline. Both participants play the same ten targets in the same order, at their own pace, without elimination or advertising bonus hearts. Detailed results are compared after both finish: total, precision, Perfect results and the duel outcome.
The deadline is displayed in the app. An invitation expires after fourteen days; expiry does not automatically delete its history. Removing a friend does not necessarily remove previously recorded challenges.
Daily challenge
- Ten targets shared by everyone, revealed as rounds progress.
- One ranked attempt per profile per day, starting when the first round begins.
- The challenge changes at midnight, Paris time, for everyone. All ten rounds must be saved before the deadline.
- A started round interrupted without a recoverable measurement counts as a miss. A connection is required for saving and between rounds.
- No advertising bonus heart, additional attempt or elimination. Only completed challenges enter the daily leaderboard, which is separate from classic games.
- Your rank remains provisional until closing. Equal scores share a rank.
An interstitial ad may appear after the final round is saved. It changes neither your result nor your chances. If no ad is available, results remain accessible.
Notifications and sharing
Notifications are optional. Invitations open the challenge without automatically accepting; the reminder at 8 am, Paris time, opens today’s challenge without using an attempt. Manage these choices in Settings → Manage notifications. Delivery depends on the network and phone.
You choose whether to share a score or friend code. Check content and recipients before sending. A shared rank may change later. Time It cannot withdraw messages or screenshots sent through another service.
Profile and data
Your profile is linked to the app session, with no email account or password. Uninstalling, clearing app data or changing phones may lose access to that identity and progress; recovery is not guaranteed. Uninstalling does not request server-side deletion.
Nicknames and ranked results are visible to other players. Read about data, rights and deletion in the privacy policy and Delete my data page.
Respect and fair play
Choose a respectful nickname without impersonation or sensitive information. Repeated unwanted invitations, harassment, falsified scores, automation and bypassing attempt limits are not permitted. Consistency checks may reject invalid results.
To report a nickname or behaviour, or dispute a result, contact contact@timeit.fr with relevant details and no unnecessary personal information. Ranking errors and technical problems can be investigated and corrected.
Availability and content
Maintenance or faults may interrupt the service. Recovery cannot be guaranteed for unsaved results or after a deadline has passed. This information does not limit your statutory rights.
The name, visual identity, text and game assets belong to their respective owners. Sharing features are intended for sharing results and invitations; they do not authorise commercial reuse of the app or its content.
